  • Ideal for therapists, coaches, alternative healers and practitioners of all kinds, this training prepares students to use Somatic Channeling as a form of somatic therapy—guiding others deeply into their bodies through SomChan techniques that help clients uncover deeply held trauma, parts, past life wounding and more through trauma-informed wisdom, nervous system techniques and energetic understanding.

The Purpose Path consists of four individual, specialized trainings that help students cultivate a deeper relationship to Somatic Channeling, and help them step into purpose.

The Purpose Path is about finding your calling, exploring sacred vocation, and leveling up with the practice—and with soul-aligned service.

We’ve learned over time that Somatic Channeling is a practice with incredible depth and breadth. Each Purpose Path training focuses on one of the many ways Somatic Channeling can be explored in service of others, going beyond the Self alone.

Sacred Expression Training

  • We know the vessel of the body is an instrument. But have you experienced your vessel as an instrument— that Spirit wishes to play?

    Sacred Expression explores the pure transmission of Somatic Channeling practice as movement, dance, song, voice, sound, light language, ritual performance, creativity, and artistic transmission as pathways for healing, expression, and collective awakening.

    Students learn to intentionally enter embodied trance channeling states, allowing Spirit, Source, archetypal intelligence, and the wisdom of the body to move through them as dance, song, prayer, ritual, and creative expression.

    This training is devoted to reclaiming a primal and instinctive relationship with Spirit, the Earth, and the living truth of the soul. Through practice and exploration, students cultivate the capacity to become a vessel for Divine Transmission—allowing what lives within them to move outward into the world through authentic expression, to be witnessed in sacred communion.

  • This is the primary aspect of this training - with deep exploration of Sacred Expression during our community retreat in Mexico, culminating in sacred ritual performance for the wider community.

  • Somatic Emergence is a methodology that uses Somatic Channeling techniques to help others gain access into the depths of what their body, field & psyche is storing—helping clients uncover unconscious material hidden in the field, and allowing what wants to be revealed to emerge.

    In SomChan, we approach the energy field as the subconscious of the body.

    Therefore Somatic Emergence focuses on this, and is essentially a way to use Somatic Channeling as a form of Somatic Transpersonal Therapy.

    Ideal for therapists, coaches, alternative healers & wellness facilitators, and anyone interested in guiding others into a deeper understanding of themselves, this track is designed to help people bring Somatic Channeling into their client practices & work without needing to teach energy healing, or offer massage-table based energetic support.

    When guided into this aspect of SomChan, people often uncover past-life and early childhood traumas, parts wanting integration (as in IFS/parts work), mental patterns & blockages connected to the field, and the ways in which the physical body has been storing aspects of the past that want to be released.

  • Nervous system regulation, somatic processing, parts work, past-life memory and regression, energetic approaches to chronic illness, somatic experiencing techniques, and foundational knowledge of Somatic Channeling and the energy field all weave in this training, supporting deep healing and transformation.

  • Focusing on both methodology and real-time practice.

  • This training is designed for those who want to become Certified Somatic Channeling Energy Practitioners - offering SomChan as energy healing (energy work) for others. Otherwise known as “Level 2”, Somatic Channeling can be used to help locate & clear trauma-patterns in the field, facilitating physical, energetic, emotional and mental healing across the multidimensional human system.

  • Students participate in a 4-day training immersion (two options/dates: either in Mexico or Boulder, CO) to receive certification in Level 2 Somatic Channeling — becoming a certified SomChan Energy Practitioner. Students learn a range of techniques: how to transmit the flow of energy for another, while ensuring their own energetic boundaries, to map the field, to sense, clear, and understand blockages, to support somatic processing & release from a trauma-informed lens, and help support others as they return to states of wholeness.

  • Following the in-person immersive training, students join a full day virtual immersion following the in-person, honing professional skills to become an energy worker in the world, as well as deepening their virtual / remote energy healing abilities.

  • In addition to honing energetic skills and learning to offer Somatic Channeling to others as energy healing, students receive real-world practical advice about how to build an energy work practice & a client base, as well as brass-tacks knowledge about where to work, what to know, & how to run a business.

The Purpose Path is where personal transformation becomes expression, vocation, and service.

After completing the Initiate Path, students are invited to deepen into one or more specialized trainings designed to help them discover how Somatic Channeling uniquely wants to move through them and into the world.

Choose one specialization—or combine multiple tracks to create a rich and multifaceted Somatic Channeling practice.

Sacred Expression

The Art School of Somatic Channeling

Virtual + In-Person Training Facilitated by Harriet Woodman, support from Esther Hernandez, March 2027 + Retreat Mar 19-22nd

Have you ever experienced your vessel as an instrument—one that Spirit wishes to play?

The training includes virtual preparation leading into an immersive retreat in Oaxaca, Mexico devoted to embodiment, creative exploration, ritual, performance, and the cultivation of authentic expression. Students are encouraged to discover not only their creative gifts, but how those gifts are meant to be shared with the world.

Held within a larger Somatic Channeling retreat gathering, the Sacred Expression training culminates in Spirit Move Me—a ceremonial evening of performance, transmission, and sacred expression. Here, students are invited to offer what has emerged through their practice to the wider community, allowing their gifts to be witnessed, received, and celebrated as an act of devotion and service.

Outcome: Develop your unique creative voice as a channel, artist, ritual performer, and facilitator—and participate in Spirit Move Me, the culminating ritual performance.

Somatic Emergence Certification

Foundations of Somatic Facilitation

Students learn foundational methods for supporting both personal and transpersonal transformation while cultivating safety, grounding, nervous system awareness, and embodied presence.

In addition to deepening their own Level 1 self-awareness and healing, participants develop skills that can be applied when working with clients, groups, or communities. This training is particularly valuable for therapists, coaches, healers, facilitators, and helping professionals seeking to integrate somatic approaches into their existing work.

Verbal Channeling

Divine Communication & Transmission

Virtual Training Facilitated by Chelsea Bratches, May 2027

Often, as students develop along the path of Somatic Channeling, their verbal channeling abilities awaken. This training is here to help you develop the capacity to receive, interpret, and communicate guidance through verbal channeling. Strengthen discernment, clarity, energetic integrity, and confidence as a messenger and translator of subtle information.

This month-long virtual training combines group classes and individualized support as students learn to cultivate a conscious relationship with spirit guides, higher intelligences, and benevolent beings that exist beyond ordinary physical perception.

Through direct experience and practice, participants develop the skills to discern, interpret, and communicate guidance while remaining grounded, embodied, and energetically sovereign.

This training explores the art of transmission, the ethics of channeling, and the responsibility that comes with serving as a bridge between worlds. Students learn to navigate the complexities of verbal channeling while developing an authentic, trustworthy, and deeply personal relationship with the unseen.

Energy Healing Practitioner Training

Become a Certified Somatic Channeling Practitioner (Level 2 Energy Work)

4 Day In-Person Training Facilitated by Taylor Unjaara & Esther Hernandez.

Level 2 Somatic Channeling—energy healing practitioner work—is the art of offering this work for another.

Through surrendered presence, energetic attunement, and deep states of embodied channeling, practitioners learn to work directly with the energetic field of another person—supporting the release, redistribution, and transformation of energy across physical, emotional, mental, energetic, and psycho-spiritual dimensions.

Students learn how to perceive, track, and work with energetic densities, blockages, and areas of stagnation within the field, developing the sensitivity required to locate where energy has become held, compressed, fragmented, or restricted. Through direct experience, they learn how to support the movement, integration, and reorganization of these patterns while remaining grounded, ethical, and deeply attuned to the needs of the individual before them.

As the training progresses, students learn to become a clear and surrendered channel—or "hollow bone"—allowing healing intelligence to move through them with greater precision, integrity, and care. The curriculum explores energetic assessment, nervous system regulation, multidimensional healing, intuition, consent, shadow awareness, ceremonial practice, and the art of holding space for profound transformation. Students will also student models and ways of understanding created by Taylor Unjaara that support deeper study of the energy field.

This immersive 4-day training in Oaxaca, Mexico or Boulder, Colorado is devoted to direct experience. Through hands-on practice, mentorship, energetic exploration, and real-time feedback, students learn to embody the art of Somatic Channeling as a practitioner and facilitator.
